I saw a video in which some characters of the Fallout tv show open a fridge and find an alien and just toss it out because they want the working fridge. I’ve never understood (or really bothered with) why Fallout had the nuclear “event” which triggered the use of the shelters. Was it an alien invasion?
Yes, but if you don’t nuke everyone else to the stone age, or inches away from it, they could stop you. And why are you worried that a few billion people who don’t matter will die? Everyone who matters, those with the money and power and those that are to be experimented on, are all in vaults, and will have no desire to leave for the nuclear wasteland.
