I think it just depends on which estimates you go off of. No one knows exactly how many people died in each, and while 10x is definitely pushing it, 5x would be more reasonable.

A famine caused by mismanagement is a damn sight different from the deliberate and industrialized mass-extermination of entire ethnic groups.

For sure, it’s not really apples to apples. I just don’t really know what you mean by “Holocaust revisionism” in this context. Typically that refers to people claiming the numbers of deaths in the Holocaust are inflated, no? Which in this particular conversation does not seem to be the case, at least to me.

Don’t forget millions of girls that went “missing” between 1980 and 2015. This number is also likely higher than the holocaust. Unimaginable.

Edit: If this is even true. It’s difficult to get clear sccurate data from China.

Wikipedia claims 6million jews vs 15-55 million chinese starved in famine. So maybe it’s pushing it, but not by much.

While they were one of the most prominently targeted, Jewish people were not the only victims the Holocaust. Somewhere between 11-20 million people in total were murdered by the Nazis.

??? 15-55 million people starved in the famine. You’re the one that said Chinese specifically, despite that being the total human death toll estimate.

You were comparing the total of one to a subset of another, that’s the only reason I commented on it. What exactly are you trying to say with this comment?
