Technology@lemmy.world•Say Hello to the World's Largest Hard Drive, a Massive 36TB SeagateEnglish
7·9 months agoSure, you might.
But Baulder’s Gate 3 for example, which claims to require an SSD in it’s system requirements runs just fine on a HDD.
It’s just the developer making sure you get optimal performance.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If the internet went away indefinitely, what things would you wish you had downloaded before it happened?English
5·1 year agoI went with a Synology NAS (I know, the foss crowd will probably crucify me) which really keeps the setup effort to a minimum. You put in the HDDs, setup your pool/volume, install Plex (or jellyfin), upload your media and you’re basically good to go.

7·1 year agomh … you’re two hours late but you offered the “and walk it in.” instead of the “to walk it in”.
I guess I have to look up the episode to see who’s right.
edit:
You’re both wrong. He says “they’re always trying walk it in.” There is nothing between these words (S03E02 at 1:19 into the video).
It’s like saying “Bri’ish” I guess. He just left it out.

14·1 year agoAssuming equal amount of people was born each other day
But that’s not the case and February tends to be one of the months with a lower birth rate.

Oh no, not an arms race against … North Korea!
