  • “And by the way she had no complaints about us, as you know.” This sounds entirely like there were complaints but also, SHE WAS FUCKING UNDER AGE TRUMP! Come on dude?! Like shut the fuck up. It isn’t about complaints towards you it is genuinely about a guy, you knew, that you won’t release files on doing shit with your business and you told him to “quit” what did you do to protect your actual employees and these young women.

It is just like, how the fuck is Trump not under investigation is it just shady as hell. If you are a federal agent reading this I just don’t know you can’t be ashamed of your country.

“truly the 60’s were a time of liberation.”

I love the people that compare one aspect of history and forget the rest, lol. The past sucked and our current future sucks.

John Lennon was a piece of shit.

“Lemmy has found a billionaire it likes.” - reads one post makes a determination because of one post.

God I fucking hate Lemmy. It is the same nonsense like this Lemmy gives reddit crap about

One post doesnt make a platform like a billionaire. Also, if a Billionaire can speak about against something that protects artists then all the power to them. Slapping the word billionaire on something doesn’t make everything a billionaire does bad.

I hate billionaires as much as the next Lemmy user but it is sentiments like this that are nonsense.

  • While there are channels that do some hardware hacking like breaking the firmware on Alarmo or Car Thing. I wish there were less laws on sponsorship and it was normalized to show hardware hacks and firmware bugs and open sourcing some exploits and so we would see it more often rather than hearing about it as a talk at a conference and that companies would partner or work with the extremely intelligent people capable of figuring such things out to improve the security of their products for average citizens.

Seeing a channel that could show you a regular every day smart product, console, or just a kids toy being hacked would be a regular in my book.

  • People want to socially interact on a platform with the intention of letting you socially interact. I understand Mastodon intends to do the same thing as.BlueSky so the question is why is BlueSky more.popular.

As someone who uses both. Mastodon’s UI and signup process is not as straight toward at least that is my personal reason why.

  • Ah yes, the always shitty, “I know everything because I am that business and person all the time and better than them.” Shit fucking comment.

At this point people who are like, “just use Linux” sound like, “just buy an iPhone.” The only difference is the Linux people don’t end up actually knowing shit about enterprise environments

I will get down voted because Lemmy is an Echo Chamber with people circle jerking their self justified opinions.

But seriously fuck off, dude. Anyone that literally says this doesn’t know shit about an actual environment.

Let me know when fucking Oracle’s shitty products work better on Linux boxes over Windows when their own fucking Linux products don’t work. I will go to the business I am a part of right now and let them know we should just hire you to make all of our financial and enterprise setup choices because you said so.

  • Bottom line or not there are ways that ISP’s could mitigate the loss that would benefit their bottom like while hurting the consumer.

Example: 1000 users are now nor able to pay or use the internet because of Piracy. ISP says: oh we had 2000 users now we have 1000 easy we will just double the cost of internet on those 1000 users.

ISP’s are like any other company. Pointing it out doesn’t mean it is negative. They are a business ruin their business model and it impacts everyone. I am not saying you are wrong. I just think your comment tries to view this stance in a negative light in the context and something being a business with a bottom line doest not instantly make something negative or make something negative not worth fighting for.
