The decision is a major victory for Republicans, wiping away a measure approved by voters to allow Democrats to gain as many as four House seats in the midterms.
The Republicans are about to gerrymander all the black representatives out of the South, so it’s going to be a very uphill effort for Democrats to win a majority int he House, even if 60% of Americans vote for Democrats.
Thrown out on a technicality… Meanwhile Florida is about to gerrymander mid-decade in spite of their state constitution explicitly forbidding the legislature to draw districts.
